@mkennedy @brianokken @pythonbytes – In addition to better type checking, I'm always looking to shed my primitive type obsession. I just discovered Meiga and will be giving this a try: https://t.co/nCHVcV4c1W
The goal of software design is to create chunks or slices that fit into a human mind. The software keeps growing but the human mind maxes out, so we have to keep chunking and slicing differently if we want to keep making changes.
I made a bunch of checklists for software development and coaching. https://t.co/PEpF2YjJ92
Example:
Software Development Checklist
- Single Piece WIP
- Scout Rule
- Known Unknows Evaluated
- Red Green Refactor
- Properly Triangulated
- Released to Production

We want a better solution to the gun violence epidemic – and we won't settle for less. #GenerationLockdown
@AgileAlliance thank you for putting this on. i don't see another conference that has the type of discussions and presentations here.
and people should take advantage of the willingness of first tier thought leaders to chat with them #deliveragile2019
@chris_hurney @zachbonaker The individuals and teams that I’ve seen show the highest accelerated growth are the one’s who regularly say things out loud like: “this is hard”. This is particularly true if it’s coming from the “architect” or the “lead senior engineer”.
@chris_hurney @zachbonaker I think you hit the nail on the head. Not only is changing our behavior hard, but it takes emotional intelligence to process those feelings of ignorance.
