@PETMpodcast @NASCAR Definitions aside, my opinion is that if a company can offer a trade of services so that a race team can save millions and afford to race, then they definitely have a place in NASCAR.
@PETMpodcast @NASCAR No need for hostility. But I'm saying you've been arguing with people about the technicality of what is and isn't a consumer product. I was just providing evidence of what technically is a consumer product. And most of your examples don't fit the description
@PETMpodcast @NASCAR I think the line where you and many of the followers disagree is what is and isn't considered a consumer product. Here is definition of consumer product per the USG Consumer Product Safety Commission, which regulates consumer products.
@PETMpodcast @NASCAR So Busch, Hooters, and Snickers are all not consumer products. Neither is a FedEx mailing service. And technically GM, Ford, and Toyota aren't consumer products either so they should get out of NASCAR as well.
@PETMpodcast They did happen to do a great job with F1 this season. Aired live 2 hour races commercial free every week of the season. IDK how they do that
@PETMpodcast Completely depends on the track. For someone like Chase, who needs a win, is in trouble because he isn't showing speed on a 1.5 mile. Id rather have the fastest car that failed tech and started in the back on a 1.5 mile than starting 16th because you're lacking speed.
