Yesterday Honourable Minister Tatenda Mavetera @TateMavetera attended constituency feedback meetings in Chikomba West. Chikomba West has 32 districts and these meetings are held twice every year, district by district. In Ward 14 the team visited Silverwalk, Greenland, Grovina, and Ivhu Nderedu to assess progress on key development projects. They reviewed the Village Business Unit constructed by NetOne in Ward 14, which is already benefiting families in the area.
The Ministerโs team also toured Grovina School, which is now registered as a Grade 7 centre. Painting was done and Ahmed cable was installed to provide electricity, while we appreciate the MP for providing metal doors at the school. Greenland received 20 bags of cement from the Constituency Development Fund to complete ECD classrooms, and Muvande Primary had its roof completed and plastered. The day ended with the launch of free Class 4 driving lessons using the Chikomba West driving school vehicle. This is the kind of development we expect to see more of. WHEN A DAUGHTER IS HER FATHERโS PRIDE: This is Komboreroโs onion crop. It is doing very well. She has self-exiled herself from the City to mind our harvest while establishing her winter horticultural crop. I can now join the ancestors in peace. The future is bright. The first reading of the Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 (CAB3) in Parliament yesterday by the Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, Hon. Ziyambi Ziyambi, marks a defining moment in our nation's political history. We stand at a critical crossroads where the aspirations of the people are finally taking center stage.
Having personally traveled across all ten provinces of our country, I have listened to the voices of ordinary citizens from all walks of life. The feedback is remarkably consistent and undeniable: Zimbabweans are tired of political gridlock. The overwhelming consensus from the ground is that people want CAB3 to succeed. There is a palpable fatigue regarding polarized politics that stall progress; our citizens are demanding tangible development, economic growth, and better livelihoods above all else.
What makes this moment truly historic is the emerging consensus within the legislature itself. Following recent interactions with Members of Parliament from the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), it is evident that support for this bill transcends party lines. The opposition MPs I spoke with expressed clear alignment with the objectives of CAB3, reflecting the broader mood of the nation.
This is a rare and refreshing moment of political maturity. I am fully convinced that CAB3 stands as one of the most genuinely bipartisan bills to come before this Parliament. Because it directly addresses the collective desire for national advancement rather than partisan dominance, I confident it will sail through the legislative process smoothly and without challenge. This is a victory for development over politics.
This morning also, Ambassador Uebert Angel made a call possible that I believe needed to happen.
He brought me and Mr. Acie Lumumba together , and I want to publicly acknowledge that. The Ambassador did not have to do that. He chose to. That tells you everything about the kind of man he is and the seriousness with which he approaches his role in Zimbabwe's story.
There is something else I want to say publicly, the call reminded me that silence on important matters create its own damage.
Ambassador Angel delivered a prophetic word that I misunderstood. I want to own that. What I received and how I processed it was not what was intended. Ambassador Angel and I addressed this directly , days after the event. We ironed it out completely. He is not my adversary. He never was. He is a man I respect deeply, a brother I work alongside, and someone whose vision for Zimbabwe I share.
Ambassador Angel and I carry a shared mandate , to open doors for investment, to support His Excellency President Mnangagwa's agenda for economic transformation, and to represent Zimbabwe's interests at the highest levels. That work does not pause for misunderstandings. But when left unaddressed, the misunderstandings become noise that distracts from the mission.
To everyone who was drawn into this moment: seek truth before amplifying. The men you thought were at war were not. The relationship you thought was broken is not.
Zimbabwe is bigger than any of our individual moments. I choose to invest my energy there.
God is love. And sometimes, love picks up a phone.
Just turned 40 today and thank you Jehovah.
Launched a "white paper on wisdom", I would call this a system upgrade with more storage and better connectivity. Silver lines, strong signals. Thank you Lord.

To summarise the engagements we had in Russia. I was honoured to join the Zimbabwean delegation at the 11th Digital Industry of Industrial Russia (CIPR) Conference in Nizhny Novgorod, led by the Honourable Vice President, Gen (Rtd) Dr C. G. D. N. Chiwenga.
I held productive bilateral discussions with Russiaโs Deputy Minister for Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, Mr Alexandr Shojtov, on deepening cooperation between our two countries in ICTs, innovation, and digital transformation.
I also participated in a meeting with the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod, Mr Gleb Nikitin, where we explored business and investment opportunities between Zimbabwe and Russia.
During a panel on building ecosystems for smart manufacturing in developing countries, I stressed that Zimbabwe is deliberately moving beyond isolated digitisation toward robust ecosystem infrastructure. This transformation must be anchored on reliable power and sovereign data centres to truly empower local industry and homegrown innovation.
Later, I joined the Honourable Vice President for business engagements with companies from the region and was privileged to represent him at a meeting with Zimbabwean students studying in Nizhny Novgorod. We shared messages of hope and delivered grocery hampers from His Excellency President Dr E. D. Mnangagwa a touching gesture of care from home. This was an insightful and highly informative trip.
We will continue pursuing a Digitilised Zimbabwe which appreciates and learns from others but above all develop our own ICT landscape with Zimbabwean characteristics , ethical and cultural contexts.

Today signifies a landmark occasion for Munyati and the future of sustainable energy in our community, as I take great pride in announcing the formal inauguration of the Glover's Solar Energy Plant. This initiative represents a significant leap forward in our dedication to renewable energy, community advancement, and economic prosperity, extending beyond mere installation of solar panels.
