@TriassicGames Loving the lifeboat, I've played quite a lot of naval games and it's the attention detail like this that grabs me. Good luck with the game development!

My friend and colleague Ashley Heppell casually showing how much of a badass 3d environment artist he is.
@Tylru Fully agree, humans have a hard time coping with exponential change in something as quantifiable as charts or strings of numbers. Nevermind exponential growth of progress in image generation.
@CypressDahlia That makes a lot of sense, i assume you drew in color from reference a lot first untill you became comfortable to make your own designs?
@Tylru I dont dissagree, I do wonder whether its applicable for all game studios. A Rockstar trailer like we’ve seen for GTA 6 would arguably not have had the impact it had if people are already aware of what the game will be like.
@thisnorthernboy What is it specifically you want to create? There’s subsections of 3d that require different skills and different software are better at different things.
@Ten_24 Because often times, those Turbosquid models are either too expensive, not made very well, or don't quite fit the intended purpose. AI will always become better and more precise at what it does. The biggest mistake with AI art is too underestimate what it will be able to do.
