Mutual divorce is never mutual.
There is always one person driving that decision, and the other person who is forced to accept.
Most often I have seen, it's the wife driving the decision and the husband accepting it.
Because he knows she won't stay, he still loves her, and he doesn't have it in his heart to fight her. He agrees to her conditions, even pays the settlement amount what she asks for, and lets her go. He also does it for his mental peace. And many a times, he does it because he knows, that if he doesn't agree, and contests it, there is every possibility that she might file false cases, and it can be disastrous.
And then, when the divorce is done, she has moved on, he hasn't. He still recalls the good memories. Many a times, he isolates himself, does stress eating, gains weight, leaves his hobbies, goes into depression, and is sometimes kicked out of his job. He is shit scared about investing himself in anyone ever again.
If wives can’t share everything about their day with their husbands, then what’s the point of having a partner? If husbands aren’t interested in listening to their wives, then don’t be surprised if their wives look for emotional connection elsewhere.
Most men I know don't like talking about work when they are back home.
Most women I know can't finish their day unless they have talked about their work at home.
That brings me to an interesting conclusion.
> Modern wives, many a times, want their husbands to be therapists.
Exactly, they should stay married for the sake of their child and fight their entire lives, so the child can grow up with trauma, just like many other unhappy Indian couples. And then we can glorify the fact that India has a low divorce rate.
She is celebrating her divorce with her own child beside her.
A champagne bottle in front of the kid, celebrating the end of a marriage and apparently teaching the child that divorce is something to celebrate.
Shameless.
But the bigger question is: what about the child?
Imagine being separated from your father because your mother chose litigation, demanded alimony, and the child eventually became alienated from his own father.
A child needs both parents, not a celebration of one parent’s victory over the other.
Divorce may sometimes be necessary.
But turning it into a celebration in front of a child—while that child is growing up without his father—is nothing to be proud of.
Think about the child before celebrating the divorce.
She covered her head with a pallu, but her brother couldn’t even wear proper Western clothes. I wouldn’t tie a Rakhi on my brother if he dressed like this.
@eagle_patriot21 “Indian buffaloes”? You saw human beings and your tiny little brain still reached for racism. Imagine having an entire country to talk about and choosing to advertise your own ignorance instead. You just proved that americans have no IQ requirement.
staying in India when you're unmarried after a certain age will just make your life difficult. i would rather move abroad and live a peaceful life than answer same questions at every social event. bohot panchat hai logon ko
Low IQ and superstitious Indian pajeeets worshipping a scammer by touching his feet.
India is a country of 1.4 billion retarded dweebs.
Nobody understands why Indian pajeeets behave the way they do.
Raksha Bandhan comes just once a year.
Why do feminists always use our religion and festivals to spread their agenda?
I've never seen Muslim or girls from other religions do the same.
In the end, it's their choice. But why are our festivals always used for their agenda?
Why do people in india hate having a calm nervous system I'll never get it. If the marriage is not working out it's best to separate. Why make the child suffer by fighting and abusing each other daily?
