Reality check: Maldives has around 170 top class resorts, & 900 guest houses, each resort on an island. Lakshadweep has a handful, none remotely close to Five Star category. The last time Lakshadweep made headlines was when the LG there recommended a beef ban . Tourism demands quality infra & open and inclusive culture . @MumbaiPolice I have called them up twice, they keep saying they are sending the keep. The volume is so loud that even with closed windows it’s loud enough to wake up sleeping kids. This is just ridiculous behaviour under the pretext of religion. This needs strict action.

@MumbaiPolice it’s 1:00am how can we be okay with loud speakers & DJ in the name of religion. This is not okay, we all celebrate janamashtami but there needs to be some decorum. This is at Worli, and it’s absolutely not okay. There are kids and senior citizens getting disturbed.

@MumbaiPolice every alternate night there is loud music playing at Pansheel building, Worli. Not following any rules or allowed timings- disturbing senior citizens and children. Multiple complains and no one is answering 100. This needs urgent escalation.

@CSMIA_Official I’m having the worst experience returning home because we can never manage big crowds at CSMIA. No other country do people have to queue up like this. We have empty counters here during a peak hour. It’s horrible
