@Podnews Seen this one? I take the chance of shamelessly promoting one of my tweets to you as I don't have a lot of followers and I think the topic is interesting for every podcaster.

@kctorawrites 2 - Beeping bad words on tv is for the US 😁 Life is what it is.
If a guest in a show swears, it reflects back on him. He has bad manners. It has nothing to do with the tv channel or show.
IRL, I prefer that people behave while talking to me. Show what your parents thaught you 😀
@kctorawrites 1 -This is a weird thing for Scandinavians. If swearing occurs in a dialog in real life, then books and films will not feel real unless the use the same language.
Children? What do you think they hear at school or with friends?
Oh, snd we don't beep bad words on tv.
Transcribe as much as you want. For free.
Not sure why this is not mentioned more often, but here is a way to transcribe your podcast/video for free. And you might already have most of the tools.
It is using the voice-to-text tool of Google Docs.

@JamesCridland I hear you. But battery is not all. The always on is a deal breaker for me. I need to be able to check the time with a glance without moving my arm 😊
@galenbeebe Before that can happen, people need to learn what critical thinking is. Not just swallow everything that comes through social media - both sides of the spectrum.
@JamesCridland Well, it is a start.
I love watches. But I do not see much point in a watch that just duplicates what I have in my hand/pocket anyway (phone).
It has to look/feel like a real watch.
Screen always on. Battery life 1-2 weeks minimum. And function without the phone nearby.
So @Snapchat is now following @WhatsApp and @signalapp with a web solution so you can send your messages from the desktop.
Still some bugs, but it is a welcome addition to my least favorite chat app :-D

@IAmKeelinIt 2- You can never trust a person that got paid to say something about a product to be honest about this product or the competition in the future. You have burnt that bridge. Yes, it could be the nicest and most honest person on earth. But credibility is gone and hard to get back.
@IAmKeelinIt One thing to talk about is host read ads. This is illegal in radio and tv in Norway. There has to be a very clear difference between ads and editorial. Also, any program host doing advertising automatically lose their credibility. It is paid.
