At least then you have a full game of football. Not 55/60 minutes and 30 minutes of messing about, feigning injury, making unnecessary subs after 90 minutes have been played etc.

@MrStephenHowson Said it before. Yes VAR has impacted games being 99 minutes long. Bring in a stop/start game clock. Play two 40 minute halves. Resulting in ball in play for nearer 70 minutes. Beats 50 or so minutes of football everytime.
