A female student of the College of Nursing, Umulogho in Imo State, identified as Wendy Achumba, was reportedly found d3ad in her off-campus apartment with her throat slit.

Reports claim the incident happened in Obowo LGA, while police have confirmed an investigation is ongoing and that one suspect has reportedly been arrested for questioning. Authorities however said the exact circumstances surrounding her d3ath are still being investigated.

Some social media reports alleged she was assaulted before being k!lled, but police statements released so far have not officially confirmed rape as the cause or motive.
