The GK Cogs Varsity Softball Team won their Regional Championship match up today against Stillman Valley 2-1 in 7 innings. We couldn’t be more proud of this team. They set specific goals for the season, and are working hard to achieve them. Next up, sectionals!

GK Cogs JV and Varsity softball team brought home wins at both levels against Dixon on Monday and Oregon on Tuesday. Both levels will be back in action on Thursday night where will honor our seniors prior to the start of the Varsity game. Let’s go Cogs!!!

The Cogs fall to 3-1 after their first loss of the young season. Lily Stiles had two hits to lead the offense while Sydney Hanson scored the lone GK run and made two great running catches in left field.

Varsity Softball @ GKHS:
FINAL: Oregon 8, GK 7.
Kiki Mitchell led the GK (6-3, 1-1) offense going 4-4 with a run scored and 3 RBI. Olivia Vasak & Lily Provost had two hits each. The Cogs stranded runners at 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the 7th to stall a great comeback bid.
