@HMBurgerz The Australians are the worst.
It’s hilarious how a no commitment expression of interest with a thousand caveats is being played up as a “big day”. 🤣
@TeeTimesPub Well from a pure valuation perspective “equity” has to be backed by DCF. There has to be a business plan that has a reasonable basis of supporting that. If these players (who are not business geniuses) buy into that plan then they might believe their “equity” has value. It won’t.
@sportsinfive “Betrayed”. What kind of big fucking baby is this guy?
The fact is he made a statement about not needing $400m and being all about legacy on the PGAT and then shortly afterwards ditched his legacy for a clown show and didn’t even get his $400m.
Fuck him the fat cunt.
@sportsinfive Oh I can remember.
I can remember when LIV was going to dominate the golfing world.
I remember when the Saudis would never run out of money.
If you think Rahm left because PGAT introduced signature events then perhaps you might want to inject a dose of reality.
@NoLayingUp This is a non-event. I’ve seen more term sheets “signed” that never progressed to a completed deal in big-ticket restructurings than you can shake a stick at.
This is a “lead” investor. Contingent on others coming in and there being a product (players) that can be arsed.
@UsedGolfFacts No they haven’t found an outside investor that was willing to invest hundreds of millions.
Apart from that everything you wrote was correct. Well, apart from the rest of it.
@AKStitch@Luke_Elvy They have one investor who’s saying “yeah I could invest based on those terms………subject to……..players swallowing contract losses, terrible purses, topping up at the Czech open…..oh and a load of other new money investors coming in”.
Laughable.
