What beautiful singing of Old McDonald .I’m sure this little star will be fantastic in our school productions in the next few years.Her confidence is growing everyday.
Exploring sounds. With our new book being Farmer Duck ,we experimented with different musical instruments to find sounds like the farm animals make.We enjoyed singing Old Macdonald had a Farm .We played along using our new instruments.
It was great to see our children back in school today all eager to learn.Our new book ,Farmer Duck inspired us to create some paper plate farm animals .

Enjoying the milder weather.Our children love exploring the outdoor areas.We had a team tyre pull and some great ball passing skills.Can’t wait for some sunshine for lots more outdoor learning.🌞
Today, we created our Easter scene in the Small World Area.
The children have really enjoyed learning about the true meaning of Easter.Some great questions and conversations have taken place throughout the day when their inquisitive minds have worked overtime .Had lots of Why’s.

Maths. Today,after our focused maths lesson on height,our children independently built two towers,one that was small and one that was tall.We used our vocabulary throughout the morning from items we observed around the classroom.
Our caterpillars enjoyed writing the initial sound of their name in the fresh snow. We then used our left over snack for our snowman’s nose and two black Pom poms for the eyes .
