Asteroid
Yesterday, I emailed SpaceX to ask about the restock of the $Asteroid plush, and this morning I already received a reply. Big respect to SpaceX.
SpaceX is extremely rigorous. There is no way they would have responded with such certainty without internal discussion. The biggest concern for major market participants has always been whether SpaceX has officially recognized Asteroid as a mascot. As of today, that question has finally been settled.
A year ago, the Asteroid plush was listed on the SpaceX store, with proceeds donated to St. Jude. At the time, the ETH-chain CTO team bought a large number of plushies in support, and also voluntarily donated tokens to St. Jude. Yet a year later, they were smeared as engaging in “fake charity.” Now, today, the SpaceX store is set to relist the $Asteroid plush, and this time it will relaunch in the identity of a mascot.
The story of Asteroid is still being written.
Where the pen fell a year ago, an answer arrives today.
