यूपी पुलिस की बड़ी कार्रवाई!

सूर्या हत्याकांड का मुख्य आरोपी मोहम्मद असद एनकाउंटर में ढेर।

गाजियाबाद के खोड़ा कॉलोनी में बकरीद के दिन 17 वर्षीय हिन्दू छात्र की हत्या ने पूरे इलाके में हड़कंप मचा दिया था।

अब पुलिस ने आरोपी मोहम्मद असद को एनकाउंटर में मार गिराया।

दोनों के बीच इंदिरापुरम के अभय खंड इलाके में मुठभेड़ भी हुई, जिस वजह से आरोपी को गोली लगी, जिसके बाद उसे अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां इलाज के दौरान उसकी मौत हो गई।

पुलिस ने बताया कि आरोपी भागने की कोशिश कर रहा था, जिसके जबाव में फायरिंग करनी पड़ी।

कल 25 मई को असम विधानसभा में समान नागरिक संहिता (UCC) विधेयक पेश कर दिया गया.

इसके साथ ही असम, उत्तराखंड और गुजरात के बाद UCC बिल पेश करने वाला तीसरा राज्य बन गया है.

असम सरकार के अनुसार... इस विधेयक का उद्देश्य बहुविवाह पर रोक, विवाह की न्यूनतम कानूनी उम्र लागू करना, सभी विवाह और तलाक का सरकारी पंजीकरण अनिवार्य करना, बेटियों को पैतृक संपत्ति में समान अधिकार देना और लिव-इन संबंधों के लिए नियम तय करना है.

मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा ने स्पष्ट किया कि यह कानून धार्मिक परंपराओं, पूजा-पद्धतियों और आदिवासी समुदायों को प्रभावित नहीं करेगा.

उन्होंने आगे बताया कि असम की सामाजिक और सांस्कृतिक विविधता को ध्यान में रखते हुए विधेयक तैयार किया गया है जिसमें बनवासी भाई-बहनों का ख्याल रखा जाएगा.

अब बंगाल और यूपी में भी जल्द ही UCC लागू हो जाएगा.

Assam: Good news for Congress as Assembly amends norms to select ‘Leader of the Opposition’ with minimum 13 MLAs.

Earlier, by the norms, a party has to have 21 MLAs at least to secure the LoP status.

Congress this year, secured 19 MLAs, raising concerns about having the LoP status.

However, per the amended norms, opposition party with 1/10 MLAs (13) can avail the status. Hence, Congress can now select the LoP.
