3/3 The be connected team assists with needs such as: financial assistance, VA benefits, behavioral health concerns, permanent and emergency housing options, and much more.

1/3 Our Be Connected program is a statewide partnership that eases access to support and resources for the 500,000+ plus service members, veterans and their families who call Arizona home.
2/3 We want to ensure that Arizona's military and veteran community gets to the services they need early enough to prevent them from feeling isolated and having suicidal ideation.
In order to truly honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans, we must identify and support initiatives that help those that served and their families in not only navigating – but also thriving – in civilian life.

I am blessed to have met Sophie and hear about her military service. Last summer we were honored to present Sophie with Governor Ducey’s Arizona Women Veteran’s Week proclamation. @AZVETS sends our deepest condolences to her loved ones, and will always remember her legacy.
Saddened to learn of the passing of Sophie Yazzie, a World War II Veteran and member of the Navajo Nation. At the age of 105, Sophie was one of the longest living female WWII veterans. Arizona is forever grateful for her service. Our prayers are with her loved ones. #RIP

At @AZVETS, we've worked with Gilbert since he was the Marana Town Manager. From working to ensure we properly served the Vets in Southern AZ, to supporting efforts to advocate for Vets statewide, he's been a great leader & friend. We wish him all the best in his next journey!
The @9thFloorAZ thanks Gilbert Davidson for being a tremendous colleague and great friend. He has been a tireless problem solver and public servant working on behalf of Arizonans. We will miss him and wish him well in his future endeavors! https://t.co/QKsHpB0d7y
Did you know...? Sales of Veterans and Freedom license plates sent just under $2.3 million last fiscal year to the @AZVETS for programs to help veterans in need of services! Great looking plates with money to help vets - a great deal! Order at https://t.co/DL48k9MCeI

Please join us in remembering the life and legacy of Nelson Mitchell. Mitchell, who was the oldest living African-American Pearl Harbor survivor and an Arizonan, passed away Sunday at age 98. He served aboard the U.S.S. Jarvis. Watch his story here: https://t.co/hPzQBoPNJw
Today we remember the lives lost 76 years ago at #PearlHarbor. Honored to join @ColWrightADVS, Judge Rick Romley, Admiral Ron Tucker, and State Historian Marshall Trimble to commemorate one of the most tragic days in American History
