A year ago I woke up early to the sound of air raid sirens. No big deal, I thought — it happens from time to time. We grabbed our cats and went to the stairs, where we met our neighbors and heard heavy shelling. There we learned that almost the whole country was under fire.

As I said, the shelling wasn’t the worst. It was the deadly barbaric hordes of Hamas criminals, sewing death — regardless of age, ethnicity, nationality, faith, occupation, wealth. Many people were taken hostage, and many are still being held by the terrorists.
