The seed knows the flower before the flower knows itself, carries the entire future compressed into a grain so small you could lose it in your palm, and this is how God works. He puts eternity into the smallest things, hides the whole tree inside something you could swallow by accident, and when you plant it you're not creating anything, you're just letting what was always there unfold, because the flower was never not-there, it was just invisible, waiting, patient as death, and your children are like this too, they came to you already containing everything they will become, the man is in the boy, the woman is in the girl, you're not building them from scratch, you're just watering what's already written in their core, and the tragedy is most parents try to plant a different seed than the one they were given, try to make the rose be a oak, try to make the oak be a rose, and wonder why nothing grows right, why everything comes out twisted, when really they just refused to see what was already there, what God already decided before the first cell divided. the harmony you're looking for, the peace you keep chasing - it's not something you achieve, it's something you reveal, it was always in the seed, you just had to stop forcing it to be something else
Greatest perspective. All the "bad" stuff needed to happen for you to be naturally appreciative as your default state again. Taking a walk under the sun, exchanging laughs in a conversation, eating a delicious meal, anything that doesn't require thought to enjoy
Moments that used to just blur together now produce their own unique rushes of energy in a way you weren't able to experience before. First time you become aware of how good all the simple things in life suddenly start to feel, that's when your story begins to make sense. When the everyday becomes significant
You move different when you're not hungry. Your cravings don't dictate your life. You don't make bad choices. You don't want the bag of chips. You say no to all the things that you don't truly want or need
It's as if your eyes were granted some sort of secret vision that adds a glowing sign over everything and lets you see if it'll add to you or take from you
You're not desperate. You let things fall into you. You're the center of gravity and you desire what you allow in
There's a different energy to present when you move FROM abundance. From wholeness. It's sexy, it's magnetic
We're drawn towards these people people who are so sure of themselves because deep down we wish that upon ourselves
Funny thing is, we have the power at any time to grant ourselves that same freedom, that same liberation that these others have granted themselves
We arbitrarily hold back FROM OURSELVES this feeling because of some stupid (often self-imposed) belief that we aren't worth of this thing
Who told you that? Why did you ever believe that life in the first place?
@TrinaNuance No bs mom that's exactly how I envision a life best lived. Hold zero tolerance for subtractive things 99% of the time while indulging in those 1% moments in which they'll blossom into lifelong memories
Spending energy in gloom while comparing your timeline to someone else's is a waste of both time and energy.
Imagine you speed up your timeline: you get the job, the family, the house, the best private school, retire, and then what? What exactly are you rushing off to?
@jakeyngblood and I took 20 Americans on the most dangerous horseback riding expedition in all of Central Asia.
We traveled more than 500+ km on horseback across 10 days with a team of nomads and eagle hunters.
Here's our story with the best visuals from the trip

@isabelunraveled You're describing how I imagine God feels with every newborn. Your joy and wonder is palpable and your kids will be blessed to have such a considerate mother
it is a delicate act to stay informed and lucid to what is happening around you without vibrating to the frequency of every tragedy so viscerally that you burn yourself out and feel the need to shut down all potentially damaging inputs and then keep yourself from being informed
The young men of this generation are rife with potential
These dark stormy rains that are pelting away @ us now are washing away all that has been unclean for the majority of our lives today.
The soil will never have been more fertile for us to BUILD A BEAUTIFUL WORLD TOMORROW.
be careful downloading AI doomerism into your system, & be careful getting into AI sycophancy. both extremes risk confusing knowledge, creativity & info. info is cheap now. & i won’t go on about creativity again. but true knowledge is what you have when info is riding shotgun to experience. there’s emotional judgment, taste, intuition, memory involved when the end result *feels* right. every sentence AI spits out can be technically correct & you can delete the whole thing bc it doesn’t feel right. it can synthesize but it can’t care. it can’t love, lose, live, learn, contradict itself. it can’t change its mind. it can’t bleed. it can’t sense. it can’t pause to savor a speechless moment bc something unexpectedly moves you. how you interpret experience isn’t some perfectly efficient logical process. that’s the actual knowledge work that has heart & soul. so thinking isn’t over, it’s just more sacred now. that human way of transforming experience into insight that has flaws & makes you feel some type of way isn’t simply a matter of just “process info”… like think of a time you changed your mind about something important… maybe you experienced something you can’t explain that bypassed all your rational defenses & was a total inconvenience to your plans but it felt right. or a perspective caught your attention & highlighted something you weren’t considering. you felt something. your attention locked in on that. it changed something in you, even just a little shift. but it was significant enough to matter. matter in a way you don’t get to choose. that part of your story or the state of being you’re in with that is exclusively human type shit. that colors our journeys & thickens the plots. there’s a specific kind of consciousness or state of being you’re in to even see or be moved by those details. it’s a built in search for meaning & need for connection in your soul. it’s not even the little bit the same as being able to satisfy the need for efficiency or perfection. it’s not replicable. it’s what you see that others miss. that moment you focused on, the one that stood out to you for no reason while the others carried on. those little internal stories you live that only you can tell & maybe never will. even the ones you do, there’s always a specific set of feelings & details you narrate that stood out to you & when you tell it, no one listening intently demands a cohesive explanation bc you’re just too ALIVE telling it for it to feel right to demand that. use AI but make sure not to use AI to replace your self. if anything is for sure, it’s that the future belongs to what makes us feel most alive.
Throughout life you acquire various lenses in which you see the world. The most impactful milieu being childhood. It's your first time seeing the world and your brain is dying to form its first wrinkles. You learn what's acceptable, what gets scolded, what receives praise, what gets ignored and unnoticed. Each of these noticings (usually conscious fleeting moments of emotion quickly buried subconsciously) is one new lens with which to perceive the world.
Growing up is detaching from these lenses, in learning to try on new ways of seeing things. They're all important in helping you relate with others, but not always helpful in navigating the world. Gold is found in discerning when a lens is helping you or hindering you.
