@thejelvprint The extra byte also adds to your network cost, and having more users in a chat will always use more data per chat since the servers have to send messages to more users. But more so, it's the pattern of thinking. Sure 1 GB isn't a lot, but do that thousands of times and it adds up
@thejelvprint Well it'll definitely make a difference at WhatsApp's scale, but the more likely reason is that whoever first programmed the app just set the variable that keeps track of members as a uint8 as that seemed like a reasonable amount
@ArchysLife My point was that he hasn't done either thing he was able to do in the EuroLeague as a teenager in the NBA after nearly a decade of play. If he had won MVP, which is pretty team count agnostic, sure maybe you'd have a case of the two leagues being close, but he hasn't
@ArchysLife How is winning MVP, winning the title, and winning Final Four MVP not torching up the league? When Shai did the NBA equivalent of that last year, that's what everyone called it. Also number of teams doesn't really matter when it comes to MVP.
@ArchysLife Close second? It's definitely second best, but not close at all to the NBA. For a comparison, Luka was torching up the EuroLeague at 19 and still hasn't won an MVP or a title 8 years later in the NBA.
@H1z1theone@Ryrbdr4tm@Annina_occhiblu@mikesulsenti How does this have anything to do with literacy, if anything you're the one showing illiteracy. America is by far the most beautiful country in the world. Our geographical diversity isn't matched by your whole continent
@Waldo_xtc@DubCityDC@blakebooming If every team tried their hardest there still has to be a loser no matter what. Doing this legitimately just hurts bad small market teams
