He passed away in 1977 at the age of 69, leaving behind a remarkable legacy as an actor and voice performer. Best known as the original voice of Fred Flintstone, Reed gave one of animation’s most iconic characters his unforgettable voice and helped make The Flintstones a classic of American television.
