Premier African Minerals (AIM: PREM) reported encouraging commissioning results from the upgraded flotation circuit at its Zulu Lithium Project, with internal concentrate grades exceeding 5% Li₂O and peak grades of 5.58% Li₂O. The company will now rebuild ROM ore stockpiles before commencing a planned 30-day continuous optimisation campaign while continuing constructive discussions with Canmax regarding an extension to the project’s Long Stop Date.@Premafrimin

Absolutely. The real milestone is not commissioning itself, but sustained commercial production.
The first export-grade spodumene concentrate will be the clearest proof that the Zulu project has successfully moved from construction and testing into a functioning industrial asset. Consistent recovery rates, stable concentrate grades, and reliable plant uptime are what ultimately determine profitability and long-term viability.
What makes this particularly important is that Zimbabwe is no longer positioning itself as merely a source of raw minerals. Projects such as Zulu Lithium Project, Prospect Lithium Zimbabwe and Bikita Minerals are helping drive a transition toward beneficiation and value addition, aligning with the country's industrialisation ambitions under the National Development Strategy framework.
Infrastructure resilience will be the ultimate differentiator. Producers that can secure power, water, reagents and efficient logistics while maintaining product quality will be best positioned to attract off-take agreements, investment and future expansion opportunities.
If Zulu achieves stable commercial production, it will send a strong signal to global markets that Zimbabwe is capable not only of mining lithium, but also of processing it competitively at scale. That would be a significant step toward establishing the country as a regional battery minerals and midstream processing hub. #NDS2 #Vision2030 #Development # CA3 🇿🇼
@Premafrimin keeps climbing, which in itself says quite a lot about the present market mood. #PREM shares have been trading above a rising 50-day moving average for most of the past month, which is unusual enough to deserve attention. If this were a less event-driven stock, the chart would already be pointing to at least 0.3p.
Beyond that, there is potential toward the top of a triangle pattern around 0.52p, perhaps by the end of next month. There are still the usual concerns around fundraising risk, so this is not one to treat casually. But technically, the setup has improved.
The ideal outcome is for the shares to hold above recent broken resistance at 0.022p and continue advancing toward 0.30p first. https://t.co/QR2D7EPc3X @ZaksTradersCafe
