I feel very anxious at the very thought of joining any church/faith community. My experience with God + church communities has left me with deep trauma. Trying to navigate this is hard.

And please do not, “not all churches/Christians” me. That is not helpful.

When working through the harm done to me by the church so much of it boils down to the fact that the people who taught me the concept of unconditional love showed love so conditionally. Believe what you want but don't hurt people and claim you're helping them.
