This is a public health crisis. We have to get the word out, but in the language the youth of the inner city can understand.
Maybe a public service announcement like: “You better chiggiddy check yourself before you wreck yourself/ if you have diabetes a big jar of sugar is bad for your health”
Something like that
@code_kartik It’s also the reason they’re G status and the most relatable in the OSS community
They 100% never cross the line, they’re silly, but you can tell how much they respect their #1 like he’s the only adult in the room
He’s right about the foundation part.
The system is overly harsh with drugs crimes. I myself did 13 years on a 16 year sentence recieved for nonviolent ecstasy charges when I was 18 because I refused to implicate anyone else (they wanted me to lie anyways) and took responsibility for my actions.
When I got home there was no system in place to help me get on my feet, endless restrictions and disqualifications and prejudice making it near-impossible to do so, so it’s unsurprising about 60% of released felons are unemployed 4 years after their release.
I actually think it would play very well to speak to shared struggles and what insight it may have given you (many in Washington don’t have that insight, it’s a valuable perspective) and conversely shunning them would come off hypocritical.
Hunter Biden turned out to be 10x more relatable than his dad. Get a podcast or something, seriously.
You’re right that the future is managing agents.
But even more to the point: the future is formerly nontechnical people learning to develop software, and that’s why windsurf was the best IDE. The codemaps and deep wikis were indispensable.
Please lean more into helping me understand my codebase even if I don’t fully understand the code. If there were more diagrams and easier ways to explore and incrementally understand my code, I would spend countless hours exploring in this fashion.
Other agentic tools: you can only ask, maybe you can open the code side by side and copy/paste lines, but that’s not the same.
And let me set something like an experience level or system prompt for those tools so I can get the longer “from first principles” eli5 version if I need it.
You guys are awesome, thanks so much for the IDE, I use it exactly like you said: as a shell for all my agents
In vs code extensions previously but acp works just as well (maybe better)
@Rasmic RIP Windsurf but I crashed out in the comments and the rep basically told me it’s a name change
I literally notice nothing different
Not even the icon in the taskbar
