@Utterly_Jean Are there no other IBCLC in your area? The hospital ones suck so bad in my experience, but we got one that was also an OT and she had my son gaining weight within a week.
@mirrenelle For a long time, drs dismissed women when they complained about things like this, but that’s no longer reality. Pelvic floor PT solves virtually every physical issue postpartum.
@e_grace49894 Idk how this ended up on my feed, but if you wanted another pro, pregnancy suppresses your immune system so effectively that it puts 2/3 of women with crohn’s disease into remission
@ashlyntherese I have a small sample size, but 2/3 of myself and my friends who got married around the same time had honeymoon babies (the other one got pregnant like 4 months later)
@prolifefrenchie They will, but only after you stop breastfeeding. They go pancake mode, it’s like they remember what they used to be and can’t live up to it anymore lol.
@CraigOnan@DJfromIndy Don’t worry about the health of your marriage in its first few years! Also you’re selfish and perverse for being upset about this!
@DJfromIndy@CraigOnan I was in the same situation and the pastoral answer was “just abstain until you’re ready.” Priests were very hesitant to speak with us at all about the issue, and we got a very black and white (and unhelpful) answer.
@hillbillythings The Shane Gillis bit on how happy those with Downs are is gold for the pro life cause. People with Downs Syndrome go on to live very happy and fulfilling lives. To murder them in utero is always selfish and never actually about the baby’s quality of life.
@audreystayshome I ovulated 3 weeks postpartum 🫠 14 months later and it’s still all over the place. The unfulfilled promise of lactation amenorrhea has created a great rage inside of me.
