@KiwiColdplay Most of the photographs in the book Roadie are actually by Guy !
And yes, there are dozens of roadies, some of which have been with the band from the beginning.

[RandomColdplayFacts @ColdplayFakts]

In Dec 2002, #Coldplay was scheduled to perform In My Place at the Letterman show. They were told the host dislikes backing tracks. Roadie #MattMcGinn had to sit between the amps during the entire performance and pretend to play the backing track on keyboard. #RandomColdplayFacts

[RandomColdplayFacts @ColdplayFakts]

@KiwiColdplay Matt McGinn is not Roadie42.

R42's name is Miller.

[RandomColdplayFacts @ColdplayFakts]

You can see Jonny's guitar tech #Roadie #MattMcGinn pretending to play the In My Place strings backing track behind the amps several times during the video of the performance (e.g. at 39:42).
