Only 1 day later and @ColeKessler is already proving his worth.
Domestique for @QuinnSimmons9 (who has some very nice words to say about Cole) and still only dropped on the last climb of the day in the battle for the bronze medal.
Amazing ride๐ซก๐บ๐ธ๐ฆ
3) Other stengths
- His punch: for example 1' at 840w
- Not afraid to work: his dream is to have a Tim Declercq like role
- Perseverance: endured a lot of bad luck (crashes, sickness), but always kept going
- Positioning: always at the right side of a split
2) His huge engine
He uses that both to domestique and in the breakaway.
- Worlds U23 Zurich: 370w for 120'
- In the break 3 out of 5 stages in Tour de Wallonie last year
- 20' power Janaury 2023: 440w (460+ now)
- 4* back to back 15' at 400+
- 4* back to back 5' at 500+
1) His timetrial
As he recently became the U23 timetrial champion (40' at 410w), it's obvious that he has a good timetrial.
Add to that he's never been in a wind tunnel, that's even more impressive, so he could be even better.
