After Kiley was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, doctors told her she might have only months to live. At 18, she wrote a will, chose a casket, and began living scan to scan.
But, over the next five years, she kept on living, defying expectations. Her scans stayed stable. Why? How?
After a recent MRI, her husband @ColeLemasters used ChatGPT to help make sense of the dense language in her radiology report. That conversation led him back to Kiley’s original biopsy records, where ChatGPT helped surface a crucial detail: an IDH1 mutation.
In partnership with her neuro-oncologist, he then confirmed what that meant. Under updated medical standards, Kiley’s tumor was not glioblastoma, but an IDH-mutant astrocytoma: still serious, but with a very different prognosis.
Instead of bracing for the worst, Kiley and her doctors began focusing her treatment plan on long-term care. Now, after years of uncertainty, she and Cole are planning for a future.
@YannickBuccella@AkalStation@OpenAINewsroom This is exactly what happened, I uploaded original documentation from her biopsy in 2020 that just helped us identify that potential mutation and what the next plan was with her oncology team
1st Team AC: INF Max Lemasters.
Max was one of the leaders of our team and was consistent in the middle of our order. Max posted an insane .548 BA and a .628 OBP! Max stole 6 bases, scored 16 runs, and had 10 walks to just 1 strikeout. Congrats Max!
Cole Lemasters used ChatGPT to reveal a false cancer diagnosis in his wife.
“I won’t say that [it] saved her life,” he said. “But I believe God used it to save our future.”

This is Blake Treinen.
The Closer for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
He went from having juvenile arthritis and borderline diabetes to throwing 100mph...
Here's his behind the scenes story (that you need to hear):
Royals: Only score 3 runs in the most important 2 game stretch of the year.
Also Royals: Win both of those games.
How?
Bullpen: 7.2 IP, 2 H, 8K, 3BB, 0ER
Nails.
Sad to hear Stegall won’t be at the helm for these guys, but excited to know he will be spending more time with his family.
Ryan was second to none in terms of his preparation and dedication to his players. Probably has his MU education to thank for that🐯. #MIZ#RFB
JV with a big 9-6 come from behind win at Rockhurst tonight. Lemasters 3 hits 4 RBI, Swanson/Buffa each with 2 hits. Crossley/Lafferty/Buffa combined for 6.2 scoreless innings in relief. 1-1 on the season. #RFB
Don’t mind me as I faithfully watch the Royals continually dominate the month of February just to burn out in May, for they are 3-1 so far this young spring, so it appears the cycle shall continue.
In a weird, paradoxical, way, hopefully the Royals suck over the next few weeks.
Behind the wind of another KC spring training win today, this meme understates yet explains entirely what I have dubbed the recent “Royals Hopeful ST Phenomenon”
Embracing my inner @JayCuda with this analysis.
An obscure account of recent Royals suckage, a thread🧵:
All-in-all, I have spent the last 2 hours combing through depressing data to prove the fact that almost every other team benefits from having great springs while this fact continually drags down baseball in KC.
And thus, the meme proves true:
