This past season, Gavin set program records for points in a season and points per game in a season. He averaged 23.1 for the year and finished with 739 points.

In this morning's 3rd place game in Nashville, Mater Dei senior Gavin Peppenhorst became just the 10th boys player in school history to reach 1,000 points in his career. He currently sits ninth all-time.
