Banana lovers look out. Chiquita found responsable for financing death squads against banana workers.
Time to stop supporting the criminals of Chiquita and DOLE (that poisened their workers and later sued @bananasmovie for telling the truth)

In the Parliament Bureau we lost @KGallagherCTV. He’s generous with his time and sources. And has a heart of gold. Last week a woman suffering from mental health issues called the office- he spoke to her w/patience compassion and directed her to help - while on a news deadline
The amazing Jennie Coleman of @equifruit @ IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show 2023 in California 😀 @IntFreshProduce #GPFS2023 https://t.co/9x0Q453LS8
🍁For the 2nd year in a row, @equifruit is proud to have made The Globe and Mail Top Growing Companies list. Up from spot #243, we sit proudly at #207. Thanks to all you #BananaBadasses out there who continue to support of mission of Global Fairtrade Banana Domination.
The Packer visited @huntspointmkt earlier this week. While chatting with Dan Barabino of Top Banana, a wholesaler of fresh bananas, pineapple, plantains, tropicals and more, we spotted a truck of @equifruit Fairtrade-certified bananas being unloaded at the dock.
THREAD. List of Wagner military atrocities and war crimes in Africa, the Middle East and Ukraine.
1. The Moura Massacre, Mali. Wagner murdered up to 500 civillians and buried them in mass graves. March 27, 2022 – March 31, 2022.
@TamarHaspel@kimseverson I make similar analogies about the cost of switching to @equifruit’s Fairtrade bananas. Cost increase of roughly 30 cents / lb, each American eats 27 lbs / year. This is a change we can afford to give banana plantation workers a better share of the value chain.
