@punsandrosie I was there over the Easter weekend and was shocked by the scale of the erosion, hadn’t been over the winter. I expect the Easterly storms are the cause but there’s talk that the new breakwater at Greencastle has changed the current.
@punsandrosie Have a lovely Christmas and enjoy the new mattress. Hopefully Steve won’t miss you too much. I tried leaving cheese for the resident robin in my garden but a posse of starlings swooped in and cleared the lot in 10 seconds flat.
@punsandrosie Exactly, but it peeves me unreasonably when people can’t celebrate the season at the right time. I’ve heard “when I survey the wondrous cross” at a Carol service before now!
@KeithMillsD7 This was the first clue I recognised and was convinced I was right for the whole show but couldn’t gloat to my family as it wasn’t confirmed at the end!
@punsandrosie As for Portland Bill, I remember spending hours up and down a ladder stencilling snowdrops around the top of the walls in this place when we moved in in 1997. Dado rails were also a thing back then. A friend once mis-spoke and referred to his dildo rail! 😂
@punsandrosie Good luck with all the upheaval. My bathroom needs upgraded but I need to sort out the en-suite first so that there’s an alternative. It’s a lot of effort and expense.
@punsandrosie Apparently no one can determine who owns the road and the Roads Service won’t adopt it until it’s repaired to a satisfactory standard. Ultimately it will get so bad that the PSNI will close it. If someone gets hurt or damages their car there’s no one to sue.
