Kian Payne, Aquinas, DL

Payne, a senior, definitely passes the eye test at 6’4” and 255-pounds. He was the Co-EKL DPOY this season along with Justyce Betts of Miege. Payne had 62 tackles, seven sacks, eight tackles for loss against some of the top lineman in the state this season. He helped lead his Aquinas team to the 4A state championship, their second in school history under HC Randy Dreiling. He has committed to North Dakota State at the FCS level. He was also an all-state pick from Sports in Kansas in 4A last season. Payne is also a rugby player and had 10 division I offers before choosing NDSU.
