And from this fortress of privilege she lectures the rest of us about diversity and inclusion while her own magazine admits, whoopsie, only 0.9% of the 230 editorial staff are Black. Seven years she's been editor. Seven years of "we can do better." The numbers haven't budged. But do go on about structural racism, Zanny. We're all ears.

This is, after all, the same Oxford PPE, Harvard Kennedy School, IMF shock therapy alumnus who helped destroy Eastern European economies in the 90s and called it "experience." The same sneering metropolitan globalist who sold The Economist's independence to Italian industrialists (the Agnelli family, darling, Fiat and Ferrari and all that) for £469 million, then had the absolute gall to issue a statement about "preserving editorial independence." The same Bilderberg director, yes actual Bilderberg, Companies House and everything, who sits in secret rooms with intelligence chiefs and CEOs deciding your future without your input, then returns to her magazine to tell you why you should be grateful for open borders.

How very revealing.

And when Rupert Lowe, one of England's finest gentlemen, a true patriot who crowdfunded the independent rape gang inquiry report that exposed industrial scale horror, dared to speak truth, she insulted him. Dismissed him. Treated him like dirt beneath her expensive shoes. While he was single handedly dismantling the establishment, she was smearing saviours. This is the same champagne socialist who has spent years openly loathing Brexit, patriotism, and anyone gauche enough to have voted Leave. She treated half the country with the sort of withering contempt usually reserved for a waiter who brought the wrong vintage.

Which brings us to July 23, 2026. There she is, across from Elon Musk, dismissing the systematic rape of 250,000 British girls as "sort of grooming gangs everywhere." Telling him London is "much safer than any city in the United States" while girls are trafficked, rapped, tortured and groomed in Rochdale. Accusing him of being "far right" for wanting secure borders and safe cities.

July 24, 2026. One day later. Jordan Peterson publishes: "250,000 girls were raped."

While Zanny was minimizing horror, Peterson was confronting it. While she was calling critics "far right," he was counting bodies. While she was claiming London was "safe," the mothers of raped daughters were being ignored by people exactly like her.

How very BBC. How very Economist. How very fucking typical.

You didn't report the news, Zanny. You auditioned for the role of its self-appointed globalist gatekeeper. When Steve Bannon needed a platform, you were there. When actual patriots needed a voice, you were smearing them. When the IDF offered controlled access, you embedded and called it journalism.

Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown called it what it was: a "charlatan's charter."

Fahnbulleh didn't inherit this mess. She owned it. As Energy Consumer Minister, she was responsible for oversight. She admitted to Parliament it was "systemic failure" her own words after 30,000 homes had already been botched. After thousands of fraudulent claims had already been processed. To understand how we got here, follow the bloodline.

Miatta Fahnbulleh was born in Monrovia, Liberia, in 1979. Her father, Henry Boimah Fahnbulleh Jr., served as Foreign Minister to Samuel Doe the military dictator who seized power in a 1980 coup, executed the sitting president, and presided over mass killings and torture. Dad wasn't a prisoner. He was the regime's top diplomat for three years.

Her brother? Named Gamal after Gamal Abdel Nasser, the Egyptian revolutionary who overthrew a monarchy and nationalized industries.

Her grandfather? Convicted of treason in 1968 for plotting to overthrow the Liberian government.

The pattern is not subtle. This is a family that serves regimes, plots revolutions, and names its children after insurrectionists. When the Doe regime turned on them in 1986, they fled to England and claimed asylum. The British state saved them. Forty years later, the daughter of a dictator's minister controls Britain's energy supply.

She attended Beechwood Sacred Heart School fee-paying, Catholic, elite. Then Oxford. Then LSE. The socialist who demands wealth taxes enjoyed private education while prescribing comprehensive schooling for your children.

But the credentials aren't the point. The ideology is.

She calls herself a "heterodox economist." This is not modesty. It is a warning. She explicitly rejects free market economics. She embraces state intervention, public ownership, and radical redistribution. In 2019, she wrote in Foreign Affairs that Britain should hit Net Zero by 2034 eleven years to decarbonize an entire economy funded by "wealth taxes and extra borrowing."

The Spectator was kind. They called it "posturing." It was delusion.

As CEO of the New Economics Foundation described by critics as "far Left" and "anti-growth" she proposed a "rising block tariff" that would punish larger families and people with bigger homes. Industry sources called it "a truly, truly dreadful idea." Claire Coutinho, Shadow Energy Secretary, said Fahnbulleh had "drunk even more of the green lobby Kool-Aid than Ed Miliband."

This is the woman now setting your energy bills.

THE PATTERN

Everywhere Fahnbulleh goes, systems collapse.

The Constituency Ghost. Elected MP for Peckham in July 2024. Failed to open a constituency office for over a year. No surgeries. No face-to-face access. She blamed her £39,560 IPSA budget and "security prerequisites." Every other MP manages these constraints. She was too busy being a minister. Too busy plotting. The people of Peckham were an afterthought.

The Winter Fuel Betrayal. September 2024. She voted to end universal winter fuel payments for pensioners. Previously, all elderly households received £200–£300 for energy bills. The new policy restricted payments to those on Pension Credit anyone earning over £218.15 per week was cut off.

She voted for this in Peckham. One of London's most deprived areas. Sixty-four thousand elderly people in fuel poverty, represented by an MP who called the cut "tough" while drawing her ministerial salary.

The Company. FAHNBULLEH LIMITED. Company number 07906000. Dissolved. She was director of a private company that vanished into the registry with no transparency, no explanation, no accountability. Just another shell in the portfolio of a woman who demands public ownership while obscuring her own financial interests.

The Hypocrisy. January 2026. Nigel Farage raised concerns about illegal working in Turkish barbershops businesses that were literally being raided by immigration enforcement. Fahnbulleh accused him of "dog-whistle racism." The facts didn't matter. The optics did. This is her method: cry racism, ignore reality, advance the career.

THE BLADE

May 12, 2025. The day she showed her truest self.

Fahnbulleh resigned from the government. Not over policy. Not over principle. She resigned to trigger a leadership crisis.

She stood before cameras and demanded Starmer set a timetable for an "orderly transition." She said Labour had not governed with the "vision, pace and ambition that our mandate for change demands of us." She criticized the Prime Minister for "decisions that have eroded public trust."

The statement was devastating because it was public. Calculated. Premeditated. Politico reported she "kick-started the rebellion that eventually brought him down." She fired the starting gun on Starmer's collapse.

Then came the rehabilitation. Six weeks later, Andy Burnham her ally, her patron appointed her Housing Minister. July 2026, she was promoted to Energy Secretary. The woman who destroyed the last leader was rewarded with one of the great offices of state.

This is not loyalty. This is not conviction. This is careerism so naked it should be indecent.

THE NETWORK

She is not alone. She is the product of a machine.

The New Economics Foundation is part of the Fabian ecosystem. She contributed to Fabian Society publications, co-writing "The economic alternative" with Alfie Stirling in 2019. It called for transforming institutions to deliver a Green New Deal. It demanded state intervention in markets.

The Fabian method is "permeation" inserting socialist ideas into every institution until they become the unquestioned default. She is the permeation made flesh.

She is also the protégé of Ed Miliband. She served as his economics adviser during his failed leadership. Described as the "brains" behind his agenda. Now she serves under him again two failures propping each other up while the country pays the price.

Guido Fawkes compiled her actual policy demands: wealth taxes, mass nationalisation of land/transport/energy, extending national insurance to investment income, caps on interest rates. This is not regulation. This is confiscation.

The Scottish Tories know it. In July 2026, they wrote demanding she scrap the windfall tax and ditch Net Zero 2034, calling it "strategically mad." Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce demanded a "fresh approach" and approval for Jackdaw and Rosebank oil projects.

She refused. She will always refuse. Because she does not serve the national interest. She serves an ideology.

THE CONVERGENCE

Now the threads meet.

The daughter of a dictator's minister whose brother is named after a revolutionary, whose grandfather was convicted of treason now controls Britain's energy security.

The "heterodox economist" who rejects markets now sets market policy.

The minister who admitted "systemic failure" while 30,000 families lived with botched insulation now oversees the entire sector.

The woman whose scheme triggered a £44 million SFO investigation now holds the red box.

The MP who voted to strip winter fuel from pensioners in one of London's poorest constituencies now decides your winter heating costs.

The traitor who triggered Starmer's downfall now sits in Cabinet.

This is not coincidence. This is design. The British state is being captured by a network of ideologues who failed upward through institutional decay, who mistake their credentials for competence and their connections for mandate.

THE QUESTION

The father served a dictator who executed his predecessor.

The daughter serves an ideology that would dismantle the economy that rescued her.

Both are dangerous. Both leave wreckage.

The SFO investigation is ongoing. The £44 million is gone. The botched insulation remains in 30,000 homes. The pensioners still shiver.

And Miatta Fahnbulleh dissolved company director, constituency ghost, heterodox zealot, regicide now controls your energy security.

The question is not who she is.

The question is: how much more does she have to destroy before the system stops rewarding her?
