This week I have been finalizing my work for the final project, which I will present in my final presentation on June 6th. Feel free to come watch in Mrs. Mero’s room 7th period! #WISE @YHSMrsMero #WISE2023 #Computerscience

Did you know that some language AI models are being trained with computer code, and that sometime in the near future we will be able to write code simply by asking a bot to translate our English into a programming language? #YHSWISE2023 #WISE @YHSMrsMero #ComputerScience

Today I continued working with the Python library called StreamLit to create a website as my final project. Make sure to check it out once it's deployed on the web! #YHSWISE2023 #WISE @YHSMrsMero #ComputerScience

Yesterday, Elon Musk tweeted that, "Starting April 15th, only verified accounts will be eligible to be in For You recommendations."
Hopefully we find another similar platform before then so that us WISE students can see each others' Tweets! #WISE2023 #ComputerScience @YHSMrsMero

Fun fact: data scientists often use "CSV" (comma-separated values) or "TSV" (tab-separated values) files, the difference being the type of "delimiter," which is a character that is used to separate each data item in a file. #WISE #WISE2023 #ComputerScience @YHSMrsMero

Did you know that as well as being able to understand human languages, Chat GPT is also fluent in many programming languages? I just spent some time having it teach me how to use Python, along with Pandas and SQL to better analyze data! #CS #WISE #WISE2023 @YHSMrsMero

@jennascanlan_ @CampanaWise @YHSMrsMero Your posts are looking great so far, Jenna! It's a very professional looking Instagram account and even my parents are insisting on following it (@ wiseairport). @YHSMrsMero #WISE #YHSWISE2023

@SilkeBWISE @YHSMrsMero That's awesome Silke! I have also been downloading things on python but for the purpose of web development. Have you heard about the SQL language? I hear it's really great for data science and data visualization. #WISE #WISE2023 #ComputerScience @YHSMrsMero

Ever wondered how websites such as Twitter keep track of user information? The secret lies in SQL (Structured Query Language), a language specifically made for data storage and interaction. #WISE2023 #WISE #ComputerScience @YHSMrsMero

@LemusWise and I had our first bi-weekly meeting with Mrs. Mero today, and Will showed me all the music theory he studied over this past week. Now I know that music theory is harder than it seems! #WISE #YHSWISE2023 @YHSMrsMero

Just had my first meeting with Mr. Konis! Excited to be working with him on my goals of learning how to code. #YHS2023WISE #WISE @YHSMrsMero

Did you know that the first ever computer that could store information as memory was the Atanasoff-Berry Computer (ABC) built in 1941?

Did you know:
The first ever “fully automated” McDonalds drive-thru was built in Fort Worth, Texas. Although the chefs could not be replaced, all ordering and payment is done through kiosks or an app.
