@GarfieldThomas @labourlewis @GrattidgeIan Then you need a choice between party candidates as well as between parties. STV in multi - member constituencies looks the best choice. If I then want an MP to help with a problem I would be able to go to the most appropriate.

@CatSmithMP I fear it's that the Government can't claim any credit for our low rate unlike Liverpool where there has been the Government sponsored testing system which has seemed to work. Will that be rolled out to other areas?

Why use such large areas with no local nuances? Liverpool's rate is 50% higher than Lancaster's yet we're tier 3. S.Lakeland and Craven our neighbours to the north and east are both double ours yet in tier 2.

Tier 3 for Lancaster. Quite ridiculous when we've one of the lowest rates in the country. Can Whitehall only think in whole counties that hark back to Norman times?
