NFFC Auction Draft #3. Went Elite at the onesie positions with Bowers ($32) and Lamar ($6). Thought we rounded out the RB & WR groups fairly well. Favorite values were Jayden Reed for $5 and Breece Hall for $24.
NFFC auction draft number two in the books. Like the 49ers stack and happy to end it with a couple training camp buzz guys like Allen and Lane. Don’t love CMC this year but thought $41 was good value. People do not like paying up for QBs , got Stafford & Purdy for a combined $6.
Drafted a team over on NFFC in one of their $150 auction leagues. Favorite value of the draft was Fannin for $7. Little queasy on the WR room but hopefully the strength of the RBs can make up for that.
First auction draft of the season in the books. 10-team PPR home league with a $200 salary cap, Starting lineup requirement in blue.
I went back and compared the prices I paid to my pre-draft values, and the players on my roster totaled $256. Here’s how the squad turned out:
Bilal Coulibaly is one of the most underrated players going into this season.
Last season:
1.3 blocks per game (99th percentile)
1.8 steals per game (87th percentile)
5.7 rebounds per game (85th percentile)
Don't overthink it.
Disappointing game for the Rockets after most of their best players play in the second leg of a B2B. Hopefully the Mavs can pull through. Definitely going to have to take a closer look at the Lakers player ratings because this is the second night I’ve been below market on them.
Halftime thoughts:
• AJ Dybantsa looks incredible. Elite first step, relentless rim pressure, getting to the FT line at will. Defenders simply can’t stay in front of him.
• Tre Johnson is scoring comfortably from all three levels
• Jamir Watkins’ defense is suffocating
