@artoflabour @GrimArtGroup Colin’s favourite pub – opposite the Art School. It was always freezing cold & a huge cheer would go up when the landlord would put some coal on the “tortoise stove”. Regulars ranged from Jock the Tramp & local working men, to an opera singer & most of the Art School staff!

@artoflabour @LukeBarber72 @GrimArtGroup The yellow & black Ipswich Cyclists was part of Colin's memorial/retrospective exhibition at Ipswich Town Hall in 2010, also the Made in Ipswich exhibition last year at the old Art School. I'm not sure "Uphill Cyclists" has been exhibited recently. Hope that helps 🙂

The 'Arboretum' Bar, 1950, no 9/26 Linocut
#ColinMoss was a regular at The Arboretum & got to know Jock. Jock would either be wearing all his clothes at once or would have them around his waist. He would always have a piece of string instead of a belt to hold his trousers up.
