@thereisnojayjay@CurtisWenis I’m above average! Also grew up going to shows where nobody had cell phones and somehow we all survived. Except that one guy who tried to kidnap people at a GWAR show. Thankfully they had a woodchipper on stage so he never got a chance to try that again.
Once again, the irony remains that if California just ripped open the envelopes and counted ballots without signature verification the results would be much faster and far, far less secure.
And a whole lot of "election integrity" folks would not complain about it.
honestly one of the most humiliating decisions in professional sports history and proof that there are no adults left in the room trying to advocate for the League, just a bunch of billionaires trying to shake every last quarter out of their piggy banks
BREAKING: Former U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services and Democrat Xavier Becerra has advanced to the general election for California governor.

Ossoff: Last September, the President of Kazakhstan calls Donald Trump and says he wants to grant tungsten mining rights to an American company. And the very next month, Eric and Don Jr. get a stake in the American company pursuing the mining deal.
Six days later, six days after Prince Eric and Prince Don get their stake, Kazakhstan announces this company will get, “The largest known undeveloped tungsten resource in the world.” A few more weeks go by, and then the U.S. government, run by their father, sets aside 1.6 billion of your tax dollars to fund and finance their mining project. In Kazakhstan.
All this while you pay more for gas, for groceries, for health care, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
@burnowt A ballot yet to be received has no impact on the time it takes to count ballots already received. That’s a staffing problem. Bianco, a candidate for CA Governor, seized ballots and threatened to jail riverside election officials this year for non-existent fraud!
@burnowt This elides the point that the delay is caused by lack of staffing. Which is partially a result of threats and discrediting of election workers by right wing zealots, who then use the lack of staff to complain that elections must be fraudulent bc the count takes time.
@burnowt Agree to a point. Except the postal service made changes that delay ballot receipt, including delayed postmarks and reduced collection, especially in rural areas. https://t.co/xVYXhI3rYD
@burnowt I dropped my ballot off on E-Day. It was counted at 10:52pm yesterday (per autotext sent when ballot is read). There are simply not enough people willing to take these jobs to keep up with the number of votes that need to be counted. The issue is mostly county-office staffing.
the fact he may carve out time to attend two basketball games merely weeks after saying he didn’t have time to attend his own son’s wedding is objectively hilarious 😂
DOJ also arguing that the ballroom simply can't be stopped by the courts — even if the admin had overtly violated the law to build it — now that it's so far along. Only Congress can, DOJ says.
Trump’s endorsed CA governor candidate will likely make the cut for November election. This makes no sense, unless his goal is to end secure and trusted elections nationwide.
FLAG: Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli says he's pursuing several election fraud investigations with the FBI over California's vote count.
There is zero evidence of fraud.
This announcement comes after Trump claimed fraud was taking place — despite providing zero evidence to support that claim.
Why would any President want less intelligence and analysis? If anything, more analysts with different expertise and POV aids decision-making and understanding. A smaller, blinded and partisan IC is dangerous to the USA.
SCOOP: President Trump in an exclusive interview tells me he expects and has made clear to Bill Pulte, his new acting Director of National Intelligence, he wants him to make sweeping personnel cuts and major changes to the U.S. intelligence community, in particular taking aim at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
“You're less shackled,” Trump told me about Pulte’s temporary role. “It sort of gives you more power.”
