#BREAKING: Hong Kong pro-democracy news outlet Stand News and its two former chief editors—Chung Pui-kuen and Patrick Lam—were found guilty of sedition.

This is the first sedition conviction against the media since Hong Kong came under Chinese rule in 1997.

JUST IN: @RadioFreeAsia officially announced the closure of its physical bureau in #HongKong which opened in 1996 citing safety concerns of its staff under the newly imposed #Article23 nat sec law. #RFA has no full-time personnel here now although it'll retain media registration.
