Personally I LOVE the alien designs in this movie and it sucks they got wasted in it. My pet peeve in sci-fi movies is when they paint people a different color and call it a day. I think they struck a great balance of making them ALIEN while still recognizable

The “no consequences” take is SO dumb. Outside of all of these, the biggest consequence of the film is Peter missing out on normal teenage things. We see him constantly choose Spider-man over being with friends. For a coming of age story especially, that’s a big deal.

Not only did Morbius flop, but Jared Leto was also the villain of The Haunted Mansion which flopped terribly so Disney had no reason to trust him
