What an incredible turnout for the College Point Cleanup! 🌳💚 Thank you to all the amazing volunteers who came out in 95 degree heat to help clean up Poppenhusen Playground and College Point Boulevard (not just from College Point, but also some volunteers came from Whitestone and Flushing!). Your time and energy make a real difference for this community.

A special thank you to our partner organizations who helped bring this event to life: A Better College Point Civic Association for all their incredible collaboration, help, and outreach for this event, Axismecca for designing and printing out exclusive College Point T-shirts and keychains for this event, and even Juan Carlos from House of Saturn for coming out! We're so grateful for your partnership and dedication to keeping College Point clean, safe, and beautiful. The Queens Chamber is proud to have collected over 400 survey responses for the College Point Commercial District Needs Assessment. The NYC Department of Small Business Services visited to deliver the physical survey copies, which featured storefront and street photography by Franchette Zamudio and Vicky Ferreira.

This official city document reflects the voices of business owners, residents, and consumers from across and beyond College Point, capturing what the community truly wants and needs to strengthen the district.
