Wind gusts of 35-45 mph (low end Tropical Storm force) are possible, mainly in showers. 1-3 inches of rain is expected with locally heavier amounts possible. There is a low risk for a tornado and a moderate risk of rip currents at all beaches today.
The National Hurricane Center has issued a Tropical Storm Warning for Edisto Beach northward to the South Santee River. Tropical Depression #4 (which may be named Tropical Storm "Danny" prior to landfall), is expected to make landfall in our area late this afternoon or evening.
