The most effective way to stop the spread of norovirus is by washing your hands with warm water and soap.
We have hand washing stations at the entrance of each of our hospitals. Using these on your way in and out will help to protect our patients, staff and communities.
Cases of norovirus are rising so please think before visiting our hospitals.
If you or anyone you're close to has experienced symptoms such as diarrhoea, nausea or vomiting, please keep away from our hospitals. This is for the safety of our patients and staff.
Starting Monday January 8, construction work will take place by Rake Lane, which will take around two nights and will be carried out between 8pm and 6am.
Traffic may be affected, and it may take longer than usual to get to North Tyneside General Hospital, so please plan ahead.
Happy New Year everyone!🎇
We're wishing you all a safe, happy, and healthy 2024💙
