2/ A rape case has already collapsed because a victim used one of these kits. That’s a survivor who deserved justice and has had it ripped from them.

Survivors of rape can access free, professional, legally admissible forensic support at Sexual Assault Referral Centres.

Enough has also been threatening and seeking to intimidate into silence young women and rape charities.

These kits don't offer a third option.

They offer false hope and the real risk of no conviction at all.

A new law in the UK will close the loophole allowing abusers to possess, create, or distribute #AI tools used to generate child sexual abuse material.

Excessive pornography consumption is a common pathway to online offending.

Our #StopItNow helpline sees people go from watching legal porn to watching more extreme content - sometimes child sexual abuse material.

But there's help to stop.

4 years ago today my lovely Jess wrote this. She died 9 days later. Jess’ late diagnosis & death devastated us. Tomorrow I meet the SoS for Health @wesstreeting to urge him to implement @JessLaw . With the support of nearly 1/2 a million people I hope he listens. #earlydiagnosis

Some startling data being shared at today’s conference on domestic abuse related suicide. High numbers of people dying in this context are in context with their GP, almost half known to MARAC. Lots of insights for where the system can be improving #MCTM24

[Thomas Bernstein @Tom_Godwin]

I've driven past the Riveria Centre in Torquay many times and strangely have never made it inside....

Today that changed... I am attending

The least we can do is lift this woman up and amplify her voice. She is unbowed, unbroken and very, very courageous.

[Collette EatonHarris 🏳️‍🌈 @ColletteWinters]

Utterly awful. Thinking of her poor children and family. #RebeccaCheptegei

No matter how much you achieve as a woman, you’re always one bad boyfriend away from being violently killed. RIP #RebeccaCheptegei

@sturgios The question mark 🤣

[Collette EatonHarris 🏳️‍🌈 @ColletteWinters]

@SoSowemimo Sorry you had that experience. I had a painful induction resulting in emergency c section & suffered with trauma symptoms for years after. I wish I’d got the right help sooner (I tried). I recovered enough to have 2nd baby, beautiful planned c section Sending you good wishes 💐

This is essential viewing. The Tory party chairman is arguably the second most important campaigner for the Conservatives. Here he is supposed to be answering questions on behalf of all broadcasters. Naturally we wanted to know how he secured a safe seat for himself without giving Tory members any kind of say. Listen to his answer

I had hoped I wouldn't need to post this. I don't invade my sister's privacy lightly, but I have no choice.
This is the only thing I can do to help her.

@jh_rowlands @sarahdangar Book marking this for a read. One of the challenges we face is what information is it reasonable for agencies to share about the person who was harming when they’ve not been charged with anything. If someone is charged with homicide, it’s more straight forward.
