2/ A rape case has already collapsed because a victim used one of these kits. That’s a survivor who deserved justice and has had it ripped from them.

Survivors of rape can access free, professional, legally admissible forensic support at Sexual Assault Referral Centres.

Enough has also been threatening and seeking to intimidate into silence young women and rape charities.

These kits don't offer a third option.

They offer false hope and the real risk of no conviction at all.

@jh_rowlands @sarahdangar Book marking this for a read. One of the challenges we face is what information is it reasonable for agencies to share about the person who was harming when they’ve not been charged with anything. If someone is charged with homicide, it’s more straight forward.
