@LutheranSage Very true. I’m an agronomist and I’ve always wondered how ancient people figured out how to farm and what plants were edible and so on. Most people would say it was just trial by error which is reasonable, but Scripture says it was God and the sons of God or demons.

@TheChiefNerd That’s not entirely true. Im an agronomist our biggest issue is fertilizer, we’ve about exhausted our potash and phosphate mines. We need Canada’s and Russia’s/Belarus’ P and K or we’re screwed. Dirty food is better than no food.

@archeofuturist I love all the replies I’ve seen this post all day from other sources. So many people are livestock experts who’ve clearly never raised livestock. Hogs aren’t intelligent, they are compared to cattle and poultry but that’s not saying reallly anything.

@LutheranSage It’s good for younger guys to know this though. Not everyone is cut out to be a pastor but we do need more teachers in the congregations to take some of the weight off of the pastors.
