Kenya's government will get powers to shut down websites, systems, and devices linked to illegal activities if MPs pass changes to the Cybercrimes Bill.
The bill proposed in the Senate that seeks to amend the Constitution is currently in its 2nd Reading.
The bill proposes to extend the terms of the President, MPs, MCAs, and Governors from 5 to 7 years and create the Office of Prime Minister appointed by the President.
