Why does everyone remember the April 2023 incident, while similar events are still happening today with far less attention?

📍April 2023: Accidental bomb release over Belgorod.
- 3 civilians injured.
- Massive international coverage.

Yet in 2026 alone:
📍 Jan 2026: Bomb dropped on railway tracks.
- Train derailment.
- 75-year-old woman injured.

📍 May 2026: Dubovoye, Belgorod region.
- Bomb hits a house.
- 1 civilian killed.

So why less coverage today?

In 2023, Russia officially acknowledged the accident and dramatic footage of the crater spread everywhere.
Recent incidents receive far less official transparency, involve fewer casualties, and are often drowned out by the constant flow of war news.

🔥🚢Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces drones struck the Russian Admiral Makarov (or Admiral Essen) frigate in the port of Novorossiysk overnight on April 6 with the FP-1/FP-2 guided strike drones!

Project 11356R frigate, is armed with up to 8 Kalibr cruise missiles and 24 Shtil-1 air defense missiles, making it a key strike asset of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet.

In a separate strike, the offshore drilling platform “Syvash” was hit by Ukrainian forces.

Ukraine confirms it has damaged a Russian A-50 airborne early warning and control aircraft (AEW&C) in an airstrike against the 123rd Aircraft Repair Plant in Staraya Russa in the Novgorod region of Russia.

Ukraine has downed, destroyed or damaged 5 out of Russia’s 10 A-50s in this war.

It's not just the technical problems. The pilots are also making a lot of easily avoidable mistakes.

shot down a Russian Ka-52 in the area of Nadiivka (Donetsk Oblast).

It's a real shame for a modern helicopter to be destroyed by a single drone🐦. It looks like Russian technology is becoming worthless.
