@AnfieldRd96 Bobby Clark masterclass incoming??
That being said, we are just missing two midfielders, aren't we? Szoboszlai and Jones?
Thiago has played 10 minutes so counting him would be unfair.
@AnfieldEdition Joe Gomez.
Absolutely stepped up and showed that all he needed was a run of games. Wouldn't be where we are now without his solid performances in both fullback roles!
@AnfieldRd96 I love Trent, he is a brilliant player, but Gomez and Bradley have shown he doesn't have to start every game.
Whereas, if we don't have Macca, Jones, or Szoboszlai starting, we look terrible in the midfield.
@premierleague Thought Tottenham won it in September?
Then Arsenal at Christmas
Then again the other weekend.
Why are neither of them even in the Top 2?
North London things, I guess π€·
@premierleague@ManCity@Arsenal And, above them, despite having an imperfect start to the year thanks to individual errors, injury, and fatigued... in first place?
But, nah, would never want to promote Liverpool. Even when we won the league this account didn't care.
@KiillMessi @prime_jordan1 Or maybe people like having time to put on the kettle, order some food, message people, take a little break from their screens, discuss the first half, etc. during the advertisement break..?
@AnfieldEdition Leverkusen were 17th place after 8 games. That was when he took over.
Titles aren't won that early in the season, neither are relegation sides decided.
The work he has done has been incredible but, man, that's overselling it a little.
@josuedporras@JaceLFC@AnfieldEdition 5 points from 8 games is bad, but by absolutely *no* means is it a relegation fight only 8 games into a season.
Absolutely love what he has done for the club, and he has really improved it, but Leverkusen was not a relegation side.
@Aloviyaa @LFCApproved Bradley isn't as good as Frimpong?
Frimpong is class, but there is absolutely zero guarantee he could play half as well in the Premier League. Completely different league, space, tactics.
Bradley is excelling against the best teams in England. Looks natural, too.
@AnfieldWatch He can be as sure as he wants.
Leverkusen will be picked apart next season. Like with every league, one or two teams dominate because no other team can keep their squad without them going elsewhere to 'bigger' clubs.
Why would Xabi stay with half his squad?
@psmccull12 @LFCTransferRoom We never faced Inter at Anfield, did we?
Napoli in the group stage and then straight into the Ro16 with Real Madrid, I thought?
Inter was two years ago, where we lost one game but went through on goal difference
@markfaulkner67@TheRedmenTV His squad is ridden by flu and injury, he lost his last game 3-1, and he hasn't enjoyed these press conferences in years.
I would be, too.
