Dear Ruto. NO point courting Kikuyus. You have TRIED. They have REJECTED you. Ol Kalau is the TESTAMENT. Turn to the Luo Nation and Mulembe Nation. Ol Kalau is a PAIN POINT for you. OR was it an EXPERIMENT to justify discarding Kikuyus? Just do it! 9 Kikuyu ministers? FIRE them.
Today's Maandamano was a TOTAL waste of our NATIONAL IMAGINATION. No Oomph! No ENERGY. No PEOPLE as promised. And no GenZ. Lesson: you CANNOT repeat a political TRICK twice. June 2024 cannot be REPLAYED ever. It was a moment in time. And it was JUSTIFIED. You cannot REPLAY it.
Lakini @StandardGroupLc should pay its employees. Secondly, remit the savings you have been deducting for years from employees to the Sacco so people can get their money. But hata wewe @WilliamsRuto push so that their debt is paid. Hiyo deni has hurt many
@WilliamsRuto For years, we have endured:
*8 months Salary arrears that remain unpaid
Non‑payment of gratuity, denying us the benefits we rightfully earned.*
Failure to remit SACCO savings, leaving many of us unable to access loans or financial support tied to our contributions
@WilliamsRuto Former employees of Standard Group, note with deep frustration this remarks ,we urge the PRESIDENT and law enforcement to move with speed to tame the group for blatant human rights violation including non payment of salary arrears , sacco savings ,KRA and gratuity . URGENT !
To everyone who helped bring the Obama Presidential Center to life, thank you. Michelle and I are so grateful for all your dedication and hard work over the years.
I got a little teary-eyed tonight thinking about my mother-in-law, Marian Robinson.
@SakajaJohnson@WilliamsRuto Kindly walk around the city from 5 pm and see how its unbearable to even breathe...let's do something
You can't have hawkers taking up all the pathways!

I feel for this boy. I might not know exactly his story, but at least I understand some circumstances that can cause such. I will repost this until good news come.
I see myself in him many years ago. I feel deeply connected to his story and this is the least I can do, to amplify.

DP Prof Kithure Kindiki has done exceptionally well. President William Ruto needed this kind of a deputy and NOT the Bacteria man who killed Raila Odinga when he was alive.
Frankly, I hesitated to post this since Standard is a private company, but it’s affecting too many people and my DMs are full of complaints. Gideon Moi needs to stop running it like a small kiosk with his mtu wa mkono, Alex.
Hi Nelson, at the Standard Group the situation is sliding from bad to worse as Associate Editor Alex Kiprotich Chepkoit continues to toy with the management of one of Kenya’s oldest media houses, established in 1902.
The biggest casualties are the employees, who have gone unpaid this month. Even their half-salaries remain uncertain. Acting CEO Richard Chaacha has chosen silence, deepening frustration among staff. This is a sharp reversal from the relative stability under Marion Gathioga-Mwangi, who had managed to bring in advertisers and restore confidence. But immediately after her exit, salaries began to delay. What had looked like a slow recovery under CEO Muthoni has now collapsed, pushing the company further into crisis.
Alex’s abrupt policy shifts have rattled advertisers and disrupted newsroom structures. Without notice, he scrapped desks in politics, sports, crime, health, economy, and agriculture, lumping all coverage under the national desk led by Augustine Oduor. Insiders say the move is meant to edge out Input Editor Wellington Nyongesa. The result has been a watered-down product that has robbed the newspaper, TV, and radio of their sharp edge.
The impact is visible: stacks of unsold newspapers are carted back to the company. One driver summed it up: “Readers see a big headline but no content. Sometimes the headline isn’t even the story.”
Not stopping at the newsroom, Alex pushed out the head of radio, Mr. Kwambai, triggering an exodus of reporters and producers. Untrained staff now fill shows, while some slots like the crucial 9 a.m. to midday stretch air without presenters. His most controversial ally is Jacinta Kiraguri, a supposed retiree turned enforcer. Once part of a team that ousted Alex, she has now returned as his fixer, seizing multiple roles across editorial, production, and even the technical department.
Jacinta has sidelined seasoned professionals, including TV head Lillian Odera, whom she accused of being “lazy and sick,” and has tried to undermine Nyongesa’s authority in news gathering. Her most baffling directive ordered producers to create content without a budget or risk being laid off, a move that exposed the financial paralysis at KTN.
With prime slots at risk of running dry in weeks, KTN’s decline is stark. Once a powerhouse, it now ranks fifth behind even KBC while the newspaper fights desperately to stay afloat.
Below is a message written by Zubeida who was fired by Alex and there are many more.
