Good evening Nyakundi. Kamukunji Police Station is the worst and most corrupt police station in Nairobi CBD. The officers there are so corrupt that they arrest people on their way home starting from 7 pm, particularly around the OTC area and the bus station. They demand bribes ranging from KSh 1,000 to KSh 2,000, depending on your dress code. If you refuse, they threaten to take you to court the next morning. Attempts to engage the area MP Amos Mwago, who owns a building next to Kamukunji Police Station, have been futile. His phone is rarely on and when he does answer, he offers no assistance.
