That's why the Canada Health Act was designed to forbid for profit devices.

Technically provinces who allow ANY for profit clinic are not entitled to their full health transfer from the federal government.

@SocialistFT I literally don't talk to Americans without discussing health care and it's the same story every time.

I can't imagine paying so much for insurance, then the hammer comes down and you get denied, beg, fight, if you have the energy, then get approved. Still out of pocket

@Michael89lr Yep! I have talked to many and many of them and the story is always the same.

They pau for insurance, get denied, fight to get approved while you are at your lowest. Then possibly get covered. Still pay $50,000 out of pocket.

@SocialistFT You have to talk to them. They will tell you, it's not as simple as googling it. You need to meet and talk to them share your experience and listen to theirs.

@SocialistFT This couple both worked in the medical insurance the costs for them to insure their family with two children was approx..$50,000 a year, then get denied and fight just to get coverage that made the hip surgery $50,000.

These are real stories..the rest is propaganda.

I told them if you have an emergency, you are getting care immediately!!! I have never once had an emergency and sat in a waiting room

@JimmysArms @KahliaJarral @sarobertson_ I had a kidney failure and was completely blind. The paramedics didn't stop in the waiting room. I was in the door to a doctor IMMEDIATELY!!! And diagnosed and got life saving care without reaching for my wallet. That was a 3 week stay. Free
