@chappellsgun he doesn’t say clearly that she doesn’t like him did you even watch the video he specifically said “seems to have friendzoned him” with emphasis on seems and then says she was almost a little disappointed he didn’t admit his feelings, it’s intentionally ambiguous not a yes or no
the dinner scene in OBSESSION makes me sad for a few reasons but one is because they act so genuine as a couple with each other at first, Bear saying he’d be a food critic and Nikki joking about how he puts ketchup on his steak like this coulda been real if he just asked her out
@ClugiMaximum@Driftwould2 it’s just as bad if he did it and she liked him but i agree and also nikki herself says “nobody knows when i like a guy” so it doesn’t surprise me she told sarah that especially when sarah likes bear
@Driftwould2 she doesn’t want the relationship because it was forced on her, if he would’ve just asked her out on a date normally things coulda gone better
@InsiderMK1 there’s an interview where curry said the same thing that when he didn’t say yes to liking her she was disappointed, curry himself said he likes to think about what would’ve happened and how he could have had the same life if he just admitted to her
also makes me sad because you can see real Nikki and wish Nikki fighting for control and this was probably one of the only times she felt normal, they acted like a genuine couple and it’s interrupted by Bear getting calls, him bringing up her dad and then it leads to *that* scene

her brain is so hardwired to think about Bear that she loses even more autonomy with her bodily functions and doesn’t even realize. then Bear gets home and she “wakes up”, sees his reaction and realizes the mess and she gets all embarrassed and runs to the shower 💔 FUCK YOU BEAR
OBSESSION, la scène où Nicky attend Bear toute la journée montre surtout une vision fantasmée typique d’un regard incel : elle n’existe qu’en fonction de lui. Sans lui, elle semble “vide”, comme si son identité dépendait entièrement de son regard
